Am I a Good Candidate for Titan™ Skin Tightening?

Men and women with any skin type or color can be successfully treated with Titan™, as long as the skin has good elasticity. At our Los Gatos facility, Titan™ Skin Tightening patients are typically between the ages of 30 and 60 and are beginning to see the signs of aging, such as wrinkles and sagging skin.

How is Titan™ Skin Tightening Performed?

The Titan™ Skin Tightening process requires no anesthesia and no downtime. A thin layer of aloe gel is spread on the target area, so the treatment device can glide easily across the skin. Infrared energy, safely delivered through the tip of a special tool, first cools the area, then heats it beneath the outer epidermis, stimulating the collagen strands. This contraction of the collagen gives a tighter, smoother look to the skin.

What Can I Expect After Titan™ Skin Tightening?

Unlike other laser-based skin procedures, Titan™ is considered a non-ablative option, which means it does not remove the surface skin cells. As a result, our Titan™ Skin Tightening patients experience a very short recovery period and have no risk of infection. Some temporary swelling or redness may occur, but these side effects should subside within a few days.

No bandages or sutures are required following Titan™ Skin Tightening, and most patients can immediately resume their normal activities. It is very important to wear sunscreen and avoid sun exposure after the procedure, particularly during the first month. The results from your Titan™ Skin Tightening can normally be seen for up to two years.
