BOTOX® Cosmetic is a naturally produced protein which blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles in order to prevent muscle contraction, which is the reason for certain types of wrinkles. Though BOTOX® Cosmetic is associated with the toxin which in large doses can cause botulism, scientists have found a way to safely use this protein for your advantage and the FDA approved its use in 2002. This is a revolutionary procedure that tightens the skin on your face and neck by rebuilding and rejuvenating your natural collagen supply for long lasting results. The Titan™ system is great for eliminating the “crepe paper” effect often seen in aging skin.
The process requires no anesthesia and no downtime. A thin layer of aloe gel is spread on the area to be treated, so that the treatment head can glide easily across the skin.
