A fat transfer involves removing fat from one part of your body and then injecting it into another part to improve volume or contour. Am I a Good Candidate for a Fat Transfer?

How is a Fat Transfer Performed?

What Can I Expect After a Fat Transfer?

Because the fat has been taken from your own body, there is no risk of an allergic reaction, unlike with other cosmetic filler products. A bandage may be required on either the donor site or the injection site, depending on the amount of fat being transferred. Common side effects include some bruising, tenderness, swelling or redness at the injection sites. These side effects typically subside in about a week, and most of our Los Gatos fat transfer patients return to their daily activities immediately.
